From this morning, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection will organize the Family Festival 2026 in the Botanical Garden of Chisinau. The ministry invites families from all over the country to participate in the extensive program of the festival.
This year’s festival is organized under the motto “Families, Inequality and Child Welfare” and aims to promote policies and initiatives that support families, contribute to reducing inequalities and creating better conditions for children.
“Just like at Grandma’s house”.
The festival will begin at 10:00am and the official opening ceremony will take place at 11:00am. Throughout the day, visitors will be able to take part in activities in a variety of formats, including interactive games in specially designed recreational and educational areas.
A photo exhibition on the theme “Like at Grandma’s House” will be organized, and musical performances will be prepared. Thanks to this event, the Chisinau Botanical Garden will become a place where generations meet, dialog and promote family values.
And at lunchtime, the capital’s City Hall will organize a series of events for children and their parents on the occasion of Family Day. They are being prepared in the Great National Assembly Square. The center of the capital will be transformed into a space for games and entertainment.
There will be corners for creative workshops and sports activities, digital zones and performances for children, quizzes for the whole family, and a food court.
