In 2025, the number of electric and hybrid vehicles will reach approximately 87,000, an increase of more than 30% compared to 2024.
This was reported by the National Center for Sustainable Energy.
Of the total number of green vehicles, hybrids and plug-in vehicles accounted for 89%, while pure electric vehicles accounted for 11%.
All in all, last year, according to the data of the Public Services Agency, the number of passenger cars in Moldova increased by 52,000 units and reached 904,100. Accordingly, the share of electric cars and hybrids is 9.62%.
