This positive trend was supported, in particular, by an increase in the prices of shares issued by a number of financial institutions and companies, which recorded significant price fluctuations at the beginning and end of the year, the capital market regulator (NCFM) said.
According to the data provided by NCFM, among the issuers whose capitalization of assets became the most noticeable are the Moldovan banks. The following issuers significantly increased the value of traded shares last year:
– CB “Moldova Agroindbank” SA: from 95,0 lei/share to 140,0 lei/share;
– CB “FinComBank” SA: from 500,0 lei/share to 630,0 lei/share;
– CB “Victoriabank” SA: from 205,0 lei/share to 220,0 lei/share;
– CB “OTP Bank” SA: after a year without transactions on the regulated market, the share price reached 310.0 lei/share in 2024 (compared to 270.0 lei/share at the end of 2023).
In the reporting year, the statistics of transactions registered on the Moldovan Stock Exchange showed 13 issuers: 5 joint stock companies listed on the regulated market and 8 issuers of shares – on the multilateral trading system (MTF).
On the secondary market, a total of 3,361 transactions were made, worth 1,378.53 million lei. Compared to 2024, the number of transactions almost doubled (+94.8%), while the total volume showed a slight decrease (-4.03%).
