The list of businesses proposed for liquidation includes:
– SE “Bagos”;
– SE “Scientific-methodical and publishing center “Univers-Pedagogic”;
– SE “Specialized Auto Center “Nistru – Tavria”;
– SE “Airline Moldova”;
– SE “Bioreg”;
– State Enterprise “Registrator of Cinematographic Activities”;
– State Enterprise “Sud-Est Magazine”.
According to the document, these enterprises do not conduct economic activities, have no property under management and have not provided financial or statistical reports for several years. They have no tax arrears, but keeping such enterprises in the state registers creates legal and institutional risks.
Under the project, the Public Property Agency will ensure liquidation procedures, appoint liquidation commissions and/or a liquidator. Liquidation costs are envisaged in the Agency’s budget for 2026 in the amount of 500 thousand lei, and another 2 million lei will be allocated from the Economic Growth Plan for 2025-2027 to support this process.
Also, the draft law provides for the transfer of the authority to liquidate the newspapers Moldova Suverană and Nezavisimaia Moldova from the State Chancellery to the Public Property Agency.
The draft law was elaborated in line with the Strategy of State Property Management in the field of state-owned enterprises and companies with state capital for 2023-2030. The document is to be approved by the government.
Earlier, the chairman of the Commission for Economy, Budget and Finance, PAS deputy Radu Marian said that all Moldovan state-owned enterprises should switch to new organizational-legal forms in the future, in line with the current economic realities.
