
This data was released by the Bureau of Audit of Circulations (BATI), citing Gemius, an international research and technology company specializing in internet research, audience measurement and advertising effectiveness analysis.
According to Gemius, Moldnet is most often visited by users aged 24 to 35, 26% of them.
In second place are young people aged 15-24 and those over 55 (21% each).
Those over 55 spend the most time there – 32% of all traffic.
By education: primary education – 15%, secondary education – 22%, higher education (college) – 31%, university, MBA or continued higher education – 32%.
Among the visitors are 12% of schoolchildren and students, 22% of pensioners, housewives and unemployed, 45% of specialists, top managers or engineers, 11% of middle managers, the same number of business owners or managers.
The most frequent visitors of the World Wide Web are the inhabitants of the North of Moldova (29%). Then come Chisinau residents (28%), inhabitants of the central region of the Republic (27%), people living in the south (12%) and in ATU Gagauzia (3%).
The overwhelming majority (57%) earn less than 8 thousand lei per month, 31% have incomes between 8-16 thousand lei, 8% have incomes up to 30 000 lei and 4% exceed this figure.
60% of Internet users live in urban areas, 40% in rural areas.
