The company said that the allegations do not correspond to the facts, as Turbo Energy Power has never worked with this substation, has no contractual obligations to commission it and has not participated in tenders related to this line, reports tv8.md
The Ministry of Energy confirmed that the Turbo Energy Power company has nothing to do with the construction of the power substation in Vulcanesti. A consortium consisting of Celin SRL and Energobit SA was hired to carry out these works.
However, according to open sources, Celin SRL and Turbo Energy Power have the same beneficiary.
What the country’s president is dissatisfied with
Earlier, Maia Sandu said that the construction of the Vulcanesti – Chisinau power transmission line was fully completed and the line had already been tested, but it could not yet be put into operation due to delays at two key power substations.
The head of state said that the project has been under weekly control of the government for at least a year and a half. By this day, the entire line is ready and tested for operation. But, she said, there are still problems with two substations: in the town of Vulcanesti, for which the Moldovan company Turbo Energy Power is responsible, and in Chisinau, where the contractor is the Romanian company Electromontaj.
The president specified that one of the companies referred to delays in the supply of equipment, but the final responsibility for meeting the deadlines lies with both companies.
“It is necessary to finalize on the substations as well. I hope the contractors will fulfill their contractual obligations in the coming weeks. I expect that in March everything will be ready, this is where the main delay is now,” the head of state said.
