The Inspectorate General of Police (IGP) has announced an open tender for the provision of repair services for 176 cars on the institution’s balance sheet, worth 1.375 million lei, excluding VAT. Among them are 53 Dacia cars, 30 Skoda cars, as well as 18 Toyota, 13 Ford, 7 Opel and others.
The contract provides for comprehensive maintenance works, as well as additional services, such as welding works, electrician services, car evacuation, etc.
Acceptance of bids for participation in the tender is carried out from January 13 to January 28. The criterion for selecting the winner is the lowest price.
This procurement will allow the Inspectorate General of Police to maintain the vehicle fleet in good condition and ensure the efficiency of the institution’s work.
It should be recalled that in March this year, the Inspectorate General of Police received 90 new vehicles donated by Germany and Romania, which were distributed to police inspectorates across the country. In 2024, the European Union donated 40 patrol vehicles and 100 breast cameras to the ISU for a total of 710,000 euros. And even earlier, in 2023, the inspectorate received 32 vehicles from the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the U.S. Embassy in Moldova.
