Premises located, as a rule, in basements, semi-basements, on the first three floors and in underground passages were offered for property lease without the right to privatization. Out of 16 exhibited lots, 14 found a buyer.
The most expensive lot was the right to rent a basement converted for housing with an area of 55 square meters on Vlahuta Street in the city center. The initial value of the annual rent, set at 70 thousand lei, rose to 91 thousand lei during the auction. The premise is leased for 7 years.
For 38 thousand lei at the initial price of 32 thousand lei, the right to rent a 73-square-meter premise on the first floor of Cahul Street was bought. It clearly needs renovation, and it should be noted that the renovation, according to the auction rules, is the responsibility of the lessee.
At the auction it was also possible to purchase the right to rent a sports or assembly hall for events and other premises belonging to educational institutions. For them, the initial cost of annual rent is calculated based on the possibility of renting the premises for 1 (one) hour per week, in accordance with the work schedule in coordination with the administration of the educational institution and the Department of Education, Youth and Sports.
Thus, for example, the possibility to rent for one hour per week a sports hall with the area of 355 sq.m. on Petru Zadnipru str. cost the buyer 3770 lei. And the right to rent a hall for holding events in the parterre of the building on Milesti street cost the bidder 2530 lei.
The right to rent commercial premises located in underground passages is in good demand. Moreover, now they are mostly repaired and in good condition. In the passage on Dimitri Cantemir Square, the right to rent a 27-square-meter space was purchased for 56 thousand lei (with 40 thousand starting price). And in the underpass on Calia Yesilor street, the possibility of renting a 23-square-meter space cost almost 47 thousand lei, while the initial price was 36 thousand lei.
