Nikolai Lishchinsky
He was not one of the people who sought recognition and public fame. However, Nikolai Lishchinsky will undoubtedly be remembered for the rest of his life by his many students and colleagues.
He crossed the threshold of the oldest vocational school in Chisinau – SPTU-3 – fifty-two years ago. And since then he came to his workplace every day, without weekends, from early morning. Students and colleagues knew that N.V. Lishchinski could always be found in the electricians’ workshop, which he turned into a unique laboratory where future engineers, programmers, managers and executives of different levels learned the secrets of the working profession.
There is nothing surprising in the fact that many of Lishchinsky N.V.’s students, even those who had not shown themselves before coming to the school, suddenly awoke a thirst for knowledge and a desire to continue their studies in higher and specialized secondary schools.
Lishchinsky N.V. was undoubtedly an extremely peculiar person. He never reckoned with time, and therefore on Saturdays, Sundays and many of the holidays he considered it necessary to come to work.
He could not imagine a situation where at least one of the classrooms would not be ready for the next production lesson. The fact that he had to run around dozens of classrooms and workshops in Chisinau to “get” the necessary materials and tools for the lessons never embarrassed him. On the contrary, he considered it an integral part of his life.
Probably, that is why for all fifty-two years Lishchinski N.V. enjoyed the constant respect of his colleagues and was recognized with many professional awards.
Colleagues have calculated that for 52 years Nikolai Vasilyevich opened the doors of his workshop seven times a week at least 17 thousand times!
And on seventeen thousand the first time he could not walk a few steps to his workplace. He suddenly became ill, and the ambulance stated that he had suffered a massive heart attack.
It is surprising that with such a fanatical attitude to his profession Lishchinsky Nikolai Vasilyevich managed to become a wonderful father to five wonderful daughters. It so happened that all of them, who already have grown up children, were scattered in different countries. From Russia to Greece, Poland and Moldova.
These days, despite the distance, they will be with their beloved father, and the grandchildren will be with their grandfather. They need to support Nikolai Vasilyevich Lishchinskaya’s wife, Lenya Iosifovna, who also dedicated her entire working life to her alma mater, in this grief.
Bright memory to the Master!
Friends, colleagues, students, relatives and friends….
P.S. Farewell to the deceased will be held on November 26, 2025 from 10-00 to 12-00.
