
After moving to Belgium permanently, Alexandru worked in several restaurants, where he was recognized as “Discovery of the Year 2021” and “Young Chef of the Year 2023”. The family then decided to set up their own business, putting all their experience, creativity and passion into the endeavor.
They opened a small restaurant with a cozy room and a terrace on the patio. Due to limited space, the room can only accommodate tables for 8 people. For larger groups, the founders offer full or partial rental of the restaurant, then it can accommodate up to 20 diners.
Moldovan Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu visited the establishment during his visit to Belgium on November 17-18.
“We are very proud that Moldovans promote our country abroad and represent it so worthily. Congratulations to Alexandru and Laura on their achievements,” Alexandru Munteanu wrote on social networks.
The exact number of Moldovan citizens in Belgium is unknown, but according to that country’s official statistics for 2022, there were about 15,000 people with Moldovan citizenship.
