The Patriotic Bloc came second with 24.19%. The “Alternative” bloc gained 7.97%, “Our Party” – 6.2%, and the “Dignity and Truth” (DA) platform – 5.62%.

Asked whether he would remain Speaker of Parliament and whether Dorin Recean would remain Prime Minister, PAS leader Igor Grosu told a press conference on Monday that “there is enough work for everyone.”

“The request is to wait a little while until the election results are confirmed. And after that we will provide additional details regarding personnel policy and who will find themselves and where. One thing is certain: there is enough work for everyone – for us, for you, and for those who are not in this room, because we will have to move very quickly until 2028,” Grosu said.

According to the CEC, 1,608,000 voters came to the polls, which is 52.2% of those included in the lists. 12,266 voters cast their ballots at polling stations open to citizens from the left bank of the Nistru River, while more than 280,000 voters cast their ballots abroad.

“Every vote is a proof of civic responsibility and respect for democracy,” said CEC chairwoman Angelica Karaman. She expressed gratitude to the observers for their work, which “guaranteed the observance of the legislation and conveyed a clear signal to citizens that the voting process is carefully monitored”.

According to her, the data are preliminary until the original election documents are submitted to the CEC. District election councils have 48 hours after the closing of polling stations to submit a protocol with the results of the election by district.

“The commission will then centralize the results of voting. The report and the protocol with the national results are submitted to the Constitutional Court to validate the election results and approve the mandates of deputies. Within 10 days after receiving these documents, but not before the final decision of the electoral bodies and the judiciary on the complaints filed in the prescribed manner, the Constitutional Court confirms or does not confirm the election results. At the same time, the court decides to confirm the mandates of elected deputies and confirms the lists of vacant mandates,” explained Anzhelika Karaman.

According to the CEC, 236 violations of the electoral process were recorded.

According to Promo-Lex Association, the election day passed calmly in most polling stations without any special or unusual situations.

“We emphasize that we are talking about the majority of polling stations so that you understand us correctly, as there were still incidents that attracted considerable public attention. The elections in general were quite ordinary, calm and without excesses,” said Nicolae Panfil, head of Promo Lex mission.
