
They will enjoy free access to the labor market and protection of their labor rights under the same conditions as Moldovan citizens. The project also regulates the rights of family members of EU citizens who will be able to live, study and work in our country.
In order to exercise the right to stay for a period of more than 90 days, EU citizens will have to obtain a residence card through a simple, fast and transparent procedure. Such a card will be issued within a maximum of 3 working days and will be valid for 5 years, without the need to justify the purpose of stay.
The law also stipulates the conditions for obtaining the right of permanent residence, which can be granted after a legal and continuous period of residence in Moldova for at least 5 years. It also stipulates the cases in which entry or exit from the country may be denied for reasons related to security, public order or health.
