The financial means will be provided from the Government Intervention Fund to Durlesti City Council. In its turn, Durlesti City Hall shall conclude a contract for technical expertise with the State Service for Inspection and Expertise of Projects and Structures.
The fire that broke out in a residential building on Tudora Vladimirescu Street in Durlesti completely destroyed 16 apartments located in the attic floor of the building. At present, investigations are underway into the compliance of the construction with the norms in force and the violations committed.
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development has been appointed responsible for the elaboration, coordination and submission for consideration of the draft government decision on the allocation of the said financial means.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean asked the responsible bodies to thoroughly analyze all the stages of construction, in order to identify where deviations were committed and to exclude corruption in the construction sector. “The state is obliged to ensure the observance of the law in this field, to guarantee the safety of all those who buy apartments. We must have functional institutions that intervene and stop violations,” the Prime Minister said.
