During this session, individual investors can choose between government bonds with maturities of 2 years (with an annual interest rate of 7.6%) and 3 years (with an annual interest rate of 7.8%).
The interest rate is fixed for the entire subscription period. The government-guaranteed income, paid twice a year directly to the investor’s bank account, is exempt from capital gains tax.
From April 2025, the Finance Ministry has switched to monthly frequency of government bond issuance, increasing access to investment instruments and greater flexibility in financial planning through the www.eVMS.md platform , the ministry said.
The previous subscription in April 2025 recorded a total investment volume of 74.1 million lei, realized through 644 transactions with the participation of 500 investors.
