According to Bloomberg, which released the information on August 20, the startup did not disclose the customer’s name or details about the equipment’s deployment location. The company stated that information about the customer and the location is not being disclosed.

Powerus will provide equipment for detecting and tracking drones. The system’s architecture allows for the future integration of Guardian interceptor technology, which will expand the client’s capabilities for countering UAVs.

As Bloomberg notes, the startup is backed by the eldest sons of U.S. President Donald Trump. The contract was signed amid efforts by the private sector to strengthen the protection of its facilities during Washington’s military operation against Tehran.
