The project provides for grant funding of approximately 7 million lei and will be implemented from October 2026 through December 2027. The funds will be used to support 11 business incubators, through which small and medium-sized enterprises will receive assistance.
According to Eugeniu Osmochescu, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, the program will focus on three key areas: improving energy efficiency, strengthening climate resilience, and promoting gender equality in the business environment.
“Most importantly, the figures reflect the impact of these nearly 7 million lei on the business environment: annual savings of about 860,000 lei for small and medium-sized enterprises—a significant amount for such businesses—as well as a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions of approximately 108 metric tons, which will not be released into the atmosphere, thereby contributing to environmental protection,” Osmochescu stated.
Through the adopted resolution, the government authorized ODA Director Vadim Codreanu to sign the relevant agreement.
