However, local news outlets Economica.net and Economedia.ro reported that the production shutdown at the Dacia plant in the southern city of Măgurele, Argeș County, and at the Ford Otosan plant in the southwestern city of Craiova, Dolj County, had been planned in advance for maintenance, as both companies typically do every August.
