
The list includes the Chisinau Glass Factory, the Zarya Hotel, the Stiinta publishing and printing company, the Lumina educational publishing house, and the Izomer experimental chemical plant.
The enterprises have already been put up for sale
The agency had previously offered all of these enterprises for sale, but without success so far. As Logos Press previously reported, in June it was announced that the “Zarya” Hotel, the “Stiinta” publishing house, and the “Lumina” publishing and printing enterprise would be put up for auction.
Various scenarios are being proposed for the “Zarya” Hotel, but on the condition that its “special infrastructure” in the capital’s central district be protected. The starting price is 106,000,000 lei.
The state-owned publishing houses “Shtiintsa,” with a starting price of 6,300,000 lei, and “Lumina” (530,000 lei) have accumulated extensive experience in the publishing industry, which the government hopes to preserve.
The glass factory in Chisinau is being offered for privatization as part of an investment competition with a starting price of 773 million lei. Investments totaling 20.5 million euros are expected over the course of three years.
The company has operational production facilities, infrastructure, and the potential to strengthen its position as a competitive regional manufacturer.
The plant was previously put up for privatization in 2012 at a starting price of 396 million lei. Its authorized capital amounts to more than 403 million lei.
The state-owned enterprise “Izomer,” which has a long history in Moldova’s chemical industry, is also up for privatization. The company is being offered at a price of 9.5 million lei, with its main activity being the production of pesticides and other agrochemical products. “Izomer’s” authorized capital is 995,202 lei.
The company is not currently operating, but it owns real estate. Its assets are located in an area with good access to urban and logistics infrastructure.
