Moldovan beekeepers, during a meeting of the Advisory Council for Beekeeping under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry MAIA, reported a number of serious problems in the sector and once again requested the assistance of the Cabinet of Ministers.

During 2025, ANSA will take 710 samples for pesticide residue measurements and another 30 samples for nitrate levels in crop sector products, Logos Press reported.

The six services provided by the National Food Safety Agency ANSA can be requested and received by individuals and legal entities in digital format through the EVO application – the “State Services” module, or on the website servicii.gov.md, Logos Press reported.

Last week, strawberries and raspberries began to be actively exported from Moldova. These perishable products, like many others, should cross customs borders as quickly as possible, avoiding standing in queues.

The General Director of the National Agency for Food Safety ANSA Radu Mustiatica urged Moldovan consumers to be vigilant about safe food consumption during the summer period, when the risks are the highest, – reports Logos Press.

In order to prevent fish and fish products obtained from illegal, undeclared and unregulated fishing from entering the national market, the Government has adopted a mechanism to verify the origin of these products in the Republic of Moldova,” Logos Press reported.

Tense epizootic situation with African swine fever in Moldova continues.
