The French Development Agency (Agence Française de Developpement) in Moldova is interested in projects previously financed by USAID. Maxim Lebovici, director of the AFD office in Moldova, told Logos Press during a meeting with Moldovan journalists.

Moldovan President Maia Sandu has discussed investments in the Moldovan economy with the head of the French Development Agency (AFD), Remi Rioux. According to the press service of the head of state, this issue was the main topic of discussion between the parties during the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of Maya Sandu’s participation in the Paris Peace Forum.

The French Development Agency (AFD) will grant Moldova a 25-million-euro loan for the development of green energy. The signing of this agreement was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers today, August 6, Logos Press reported.
