The selected projects include proposals from different areas such as rural, gastronomic, digital, cultural and ecological tourism, reflecting an integrated approach to tourism development at the local level.

These include the La Tudora guesthouse; the Casa de sub Stâncă and Conacul Mierii agropensions; the Doina Vin, Unicorn and Căinari wineries; the Pe Toloacă camping site, the Ignis Ceramics gallery and other economic entities.

The total amount of funds allocated for this round of funding amounted to $150,000.

The money was allocated by the Ukrainian-Moldovan-American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF), which supports small and medium-sized enterprises.

“For UMAEF, tourism is not only an economic engine, but also a bridge between people, cultures and communities. With the support provided through the GROW Moldova program, we want to stimulate initiatives that capitalize on local authenticity and contribute to the positive image of Moldova as an emerging tourist destination in Eastern Europe,” emphasized Stella Jemna, Moldova’s representative to UMAEF.
