According to the White House chief of staff, Iran is facing a shortage of storage space for the oil it produces.

“They are under pressure. Once the pipelines blow up, you’ll never be able to restore them to the way they were,” The Wall Street Journal quoted Trump as saying.

The American leader emphasized that Iran’s oil pipelines “carry large volumes of oil.” “And if for any reason that line is shut down because of the inability to ship oil to storage facilities or to ships, which is what is happening now because they don’t have ships because of the blockade, that line will undermine itself from within,” he said in an interview with Fox News. Trump noted that Iran “has about three days before that happens.”

According to the American president, in case of such a development, Iran could lose half of its oil production capacity.
