He currently serves as Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responsible for issues relating to the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, the Joint Control Commission and regional security matters. He also oversees matters relating to remembrance policies, including the promotion of Holocaust remembrance. He previously served as Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the Czech Republic, whilst also being accredited to the Holy See in a concurrent capacity. Prior to that, he held senior positions within the ministry and served in the Republic of Moldova’s permanent missions to the OSCE and the UN Office in Vienna.
