
The organizers of Startup Moldova Summit, which will be held in Chisinau next week, have identified four of the most interesting startups launched in Moldova in recent years and worthy of close attention.
Among them is Planable, a collaboration platform for marketing teams, specialized in managing and validating content for social networks. It is used by more than 10,000 content creators behind iconic brands such as Hyundai, Christian Louboutin, Viber and the United Nations.
Global car services platform Parkopedia specializes in parking, electric car charging, fuel and tolls. The company was founded in 2007 and has since expanded its services to include integrated payment options that now cover more than 90 countries.
Another noteworthy startup Bloomcoding is an edTech company from Moldova that offers online programming courses for kids using AR and VR technologies. It has raised €1 million in 2023 from Credo Ventures from Prague, Inovo VC from Warsaw and Genesis Ventures from Ukraine.
Finally, Fagura is an innovative crowdfunding platform that connects investors and borrowers. The project was launched in Moldova and has now expanded to Romania. In 2024, the fintech received an investment of 250,000 euros from U.Ventures, an American venture capital fund operating in the region.
The startup ecosystem in Moldova has undergone significant changes in recent years, driving innovation and having a significant impact on the national economy. Their number in the IT sector alone is already in the hundreds, making our country known in the world not only as a producer of wine and agricultural products.
