More than 50 companies from trade, services, transportation and logistics, construction, industry, health care, social assistance and the public sector are participating in the fair. Among those looking for employees are Local, Linella, Azamet, Kaufland, 47ht Paralelle, Efes Dina Cociug, vocational schools and colleges, banks.

The organizers expected a high level of interest against the background of the continuing imbalance in the labor market: employers report a shortage of staff, while some citizens continue to look for better-paid jobs abroad.

According to Raisa Dogaru, director of the National Employment Agency, the main advantage of the fair is the platform where employers and job seekers have the opportunity to communicate live. Visitors can directly meet employers, submit resumes, discuss the terms of employment and arrange interviews.

Nevertheless, interest in the event was moderate. Especially among graduates of Moldovan universities, for whom the fair offers disastrously few vacancies. Most of the proposals are related to working professions: this is where the turnover of personnel is high.

According to Moldovan employment platforms, the shortage of staff is particularly acute in Moldovan health care, education, construction, textile industry and trade. Last year alone, more than 35 thousand people left the labor market of the country, and the trend continues. Experts say that the main reasons are migration and demographic decline.

As previously reported by the National Employment Agency, there are still thousands of unfilled vacancies in the country, most of which are concentrated in cities. Employers are increasingly facing a shortage of qualified employees and are competing for staff by increasing salaries and expanding social packages.

There were about 32.8 thousand vacancies in Moldova in the first quarter of 2025. The vacancy rate amounted to 4.7% of the total number of jobs. Almost 40% of all vacancies are in the public sector.

According to ANSP, in the spring of 2026, more than 11 thousand vacancies were officially unfilled in the country.

It should be noted that the event was organized by NAZN and the General Directorate of Employment of Chisinau municipality with the support of GIZ Moldova, EU4Youth – Employment and Entrepreneurship program and the Central Project Management Agency (CPVA).
