Visa applicants are required to provide all social media usernames or nicknames of each platform they have used in the last 5 years. This data must be entered on the DS-160 visa application form, the embassy informs.
In addition, visa applicants will have to confirm that the information in their application is true and correct before they sign and submit it.
Failure to provide social media information may result in visa denial and ineligibility for future visas.
