The event is prepared for children aged 5 to 8 years old, as well as their parents, tutors and teachers. It will take place in the building of the National Bank and will include guided tours, games and activities.
With the help of visual examples and interactive exercises, children will be introduced to the history of the national currency, the elements of money protection, and the role of the central bank in the development of the economy.
The “În lumea lui Bănuț” initiative was launched in 2021.
“With this initiative, the National Bank of Moldova continues to promote financial education from an early age,” emphasizes Anca Dragu, head of the NBM. – A more literate society is built on knowledge acquired from an early age, and childhood is the natural beginning of this path”.
The tours will take place hourly from 10:00 to 15:00.
At the same time, children must be accompanied by an adult, who can enter the NBM building upon presentation of an ID card.
