During the plenary session, the Prime Minister will deliver a speech on strengthening regional cooperation, security, and sustainable development in Southeast Europe. This year’s meeting is held under the theme “Strengthening Regional Unity for a Stable, Secure, and Sustainable Future—30 Years of Partnership and Progress.”
In addition to participating in the main program, the head of the Moldovan government will hold bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Rumen Radev of the Republic of Bulgaria and Prime Minister Juro Matsut of the Republic of Serbia.
The summit agenda also includes the adoption of the SEECP final declaration, the handover ceremony of the chairmanship to Romania, and a discussion of regional priorities for the coming period.
Opening the event, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova emphasized the importance of the SEECP as a vital regional platform for dialogue, trust, and good-neighborly cooperation. She noted that amid growing geopolitical and economic challenges, regional cooperation remains a key instrument for strengthening stability, security, and sustainable development.
It should be recalled that SEECP is the main format for political dialogue in Southeast Europe, bringing together the leaders of participating countries to promote stability and prosperity in the region.
