Diana Kiguradze appointed Visa’s regional manager in Moldova

Visa, the world leader in digital payments, announced on May 19 the appointment of Diana Kiguradze as regional manager in Moldova, - reports Logos Press.

Diana Kiguradze previously served as Regional Manager for the Caucasus, and with the expansion of her role, she will coordinate Visa’s operations and strategic direction in Moldova, Georgia and Armenia. The focus will be on accelerating digital transformation, strengthening local partnerships and expanding access to Visa’s innovative payment solutions in these countries.

“Diana’s outstanding leadership skills have been a key driver of Visa’s growth in the Caucasus,” said Christina Doros, Visa’s senior vice president and group manager for the CIS and Southeast Europe region. – With her deep understanding of the payment ecosystem in the region, she is ideally suited to lead our efforts in Moldova. I am confident that Diana will continue to drive innovation, strengthen our market presence and bring even more value to our customers and partners in her new area of responsibility.”

With more than 15 years of experience in retail banking, digital channels, loyalty programs, distance commerce and payment innovation, Diana Kiguradze brings extensive knowledge and a solid portfolio of accomplishments to her new role. Since joining Visa in 2018 as head of business development for Georgia and Armenia, and then to her role as regional manager for the Caucasus, she has played a key role in driving Visa’s regional agenda, helping to grow market share and strengthen customer relationships, the company said in a press release.

“I am honored to take on this new position and expand my responsibilities at Visa,” said Diana Kiguradze. – “I am excited to work with our team and strategic partners in Moldova to capitalize on new opportunities with Visa’s next-generation technology, while continuing to promote secure and convenient digital payments and support financial inclusion in Georgia and Armenia.”
