City Hall will receive half a million from leasing out non-residential premises

Almost 500 thousand lei in the form of total annual rent will bring to the municipal budget 9 non-residential premises of municipal property. Their lease right was won at an auction held on December 5 in Chisinau, Logos Press reported.

According to the information of the capital mayor’s office, different types of premises were put up for the tender at 17 addresses, with the area from 6.8 sq. m to 182.85 sq. m, located, as a rule, on the first or technical floor, in the basement, on the first floor, in a detached building, garage. The lease is granted without the right of privatization.

The most expensive lot was the premises at 129 Kolumna Street, located on the first floor, with an area of 87 square meters. The initial value of the annual rent, set by the auction commission, amounted to 150 thousand lei. During the auction it increased to 255 thousand lei. The lease is granted for five years.

The right to rent an 11-square-meter space in the basement of the Dacia boulevard, with an initial annual rent of 4 thousand lei, was bought for 4.8 thousand lei. Six premises in the underpass on Ion Creanga Street with the area from 6.8 square meters to 52 square meters will also be leased for five years. The annual rent for them will range from 12 thousand to 78 thousand lei.

The lots that were not demanded during the auction will be put up for the next auction, which will be held on December 19, 2025, in the Center sector pretura.
