Without these AI-driven solutions, e-commerce business models will no longer be viable, market experts say. The e-commerce business is very volatile. This makes it difficult to plan staff properly.
There will always be people working in the warehouse
The advantage of robots is that they are always available and can help handle peak loads. But a robot still needs maintenance, so there will always be people working in the warehouse.
The robotic solution was developed by a startup with 140 employees in Poland’s capital Warsaw. The project leaders said that over the past few years, the volume of business and the number of customers, including large retailers, have tripled.
In 2025, the company announced that it had raised investments of around €50 million to develop AI-based robotics innovations.
