“We have clear plans to enter the Moldovan market in 2026 and are currently in the final stages of analyzing and evaluating opportunities to expand into Central Asian countries,” said Balfin’s vice president of retail Julian Mane.

The company is looking to expand through franchises that can provide regional scalability, such as Danish retail brand Flying Tiger Copenhagen and French family fashion brand KIABI, which Balfin introduced last year in the Western Balkans.

Balfin Group (Balkan Finance Investment Group) is one of the most important and successful investment groups in the Western Balkans. It was founded in 1993 in Vienna by Samir Mane.

It is a diversified group operating in real estate, wholesale and retail, banking, asset management, tourism, education and logistics. The group employs approximately 5,000 people. It is present in eleven countries, including Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia.
