
Yesterday alone, June 29, 2,447 citizens sought assistance at 18 special tents set up in the municipality of Chisinau, as well as in the districts of Anenii Noi, Ialoveni, Cahul, Cimișlia, Cantemir, Căușeni, Ștefan Voda, Hîncești, Leova, and Taraclia. To ensure the operation of these centers, 24 State Emergency Service employees and 16 pieces of specialized equipment have been mobilized.

The tents will remain open throughout the day today, June 30. In the capital, they are located at the following addresses:
Central Sector: Hîncești Highway;
Chekani Sector: 2 Mircea cel Batrin Blvd.;
Buiucani Sector: 5 Calya Eshilor St.;
Ryshkanovka Sector: 13/1 Miron Kostin St.;
Botanic Sector: 21/1 Dacia Blvd.
Meteorologists warn that today, Tuesday, June 30, the heat wave will intensify. Maximum temperatures are forecast to reach 41 °C in the south of the country, 37 °C in Chișinău, and 35 °C in Bălți. Warnings regarding the dangers of extremely high temperatures remain in effect.
Recommendations from emergency responders for the public:
Avoid being in the sun during the critical hours from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Stay hydrated at all times: drink plenty of water, even if you don’t feel thirsty. Avoid alcoholic and very sweet beverages.
Exercise extreme caution in vehicles: under no circumstances leave children or pets in parked cars; the temperature inside the vehicle can quickly exceed 50–60°C.
Protect vulnerable groups: pay special attention to children, the elderly, and people with chronic illnesses.
If symptoms of heatstroke (nausea, headache, severe weakness) appear, citizens are urged to immediately seek medical assistance by calling the Unified Emergency Service at 112.
