Elon Musk announced this on the social media platform X, noting that users will be able to create documents, presentations, and spreadsheets using AI agents in the app sidebar.

According to Musk’s post, each of the three apps will feature a separate Grok agent capable of generating content based on the user’s text queries.

In PowerPoint, the agent will be able to create presentations; in Word, it will prepare documents; and in Excel, it will work with spreadsheets and data.

In addition, Grok will be able to use data from the internet and the social network X in real time, as well as create images and charts.

Another feature will be the ability to connect to user applications and MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, which are used to integrate AI models with external tools and enterprise systems.

According to Musk’s post, this new feature will be available to users of the SuperGrok, Heavy, Business, and Enterprise plans.

Musk Is Trending

The integration of Grok directly into office applications reflects a broader trend in the development of generative artificial intelligence: the shift from standalone chatbots to embedded digital agents that perform work tasks within familiar business tools.

For companies, this could mean expanded capabilities for automating the preparation of reports, presentations, data analysis, and the creation of business documentation. At the same time, this approach intensifies competition among the largest developers of AI solutions, who are striving to gain a foothold in the corporate sector.

Microsoft is already developing its own AI tools within the Office ecosystem, including Copilot, so the arrival of Grok in a similar environment is part of a broader battle for the market of intelligent business assistants.

The main point of Musk’s message is that Grok goes beyond a standalone chat interface to become an integrated work tool for document preparation, data analysis, and office process automation.
