The blue-green bag, roughly the size of an A4 sheet of paper, is expected to sell for several million kronor, according to swedenherald.com.
The bag is the result of years of research, during which artificially grown leather was developed by recreating the molecular “puzzle” of a large dinosaur’s protein using artificial intelligence.
“It is impossible to estimate its value,” warned Alexander Zikel, an auctioneer at Drouot in Paris.
It is expected to sell for between 300,000 and 500,000 euros.
