He said that within 28 contracts signed with Moldovan entrepreneurs, investments worth about 3 billion lei were announced.
“Three billion lei only from 28 companies – this is the total amount of state aid and investments by the companies themselves. This is a very significant sum,” the minister said.
Full data on the impact of the program will be presented after the publication of macroeconomic indicators for 2025. The authorities say that the state aid program remains one of the main instruments for supporting entrepreneurs and attracting investments in the economy.
In addition, the minister confirmed plans to reform the state property management system.
“This area requires a very serious, careful and detailed approach in order to improve the efficiency of management of state-owned enterprises and state-owned lands, as it is the state that is their founder,” Osmochescu said.
The statements were made during a press conference dedicated to the launch of the “Reușim” (“We can do it!”) program.
According to the minister, the program is meant to speed up Moldova’s harmonization with the legal and institutional system of the European Union through deregulation, investment attraction and digitalization.
“What we all want is Moldova’s economic growth, we will succeed,” the official concluded.
