On Thursday, May 7, the program includes meetings on security and defense issues. She will hold talks with Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatii and Foreign Minister Mihai Popšoi.
According to the European External Action Service, on the second day of the visit, Kaja Kallas will meet with President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and other high-ranking officials. Discussions with representatives of civil society and participation in EuroQuiz together with young people from all over Moldova are also foreseen.
On the same day, May 8, at 10:25 a.m., there will be a joint press conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
At the same time, the program of the visit does not include her participation in the festive events dedicated to Europe Day in Chisinau on 9 May. On this day, the EU Foreign Service will organize an Open Doors Day in Brussels within the Europe Day. Concerts, performances, master classes and cultural presentations of the countries of the world, as well as meetings with EU ambassadors and interactive formats are planned during the day. There will also be discussions on key topics of EU foreign policy – security, relations with partners, trade, technology and countering disinformation.
