According to the MP, fraudsters have created a Telegram channel where they use his identity to mislead users. Promises of “quick income” and high-yield investments are spread there, which in fact lead to serious financial losses.
Citizens are urged not to come into contact with such accounts and not to transfer money to unknown persons. It is reported that the username @Radu_4 is used to administer the fraudulent channel.
“I will appeal to Telegram and law enforcement agencies to identify and punish the perpetrators. I ask citizens to be careful and not to fall victim to criminals,” Marian wrote on social media.
Separately, the second incident is reported: an e-mail address containing the MP’s name could have been used to send an insulting message to ex-minister Valeriu Munteanu.
The MP urged the media and users to spread information about fake accounts using his name.
