As reported According to the Russian Defense Ministry, servicemen from higher military schools of all types and branches of the Russian Armed Forces will take part in the foot part of the parade. The air part of the parade will also be preserved – planes of Russian aerobatic groups will fly over Moscow, and the flight will be completed by Su-25 attack aircrafts, which will paint the sky in the colors of the Russian flag.
At the same time, this year’s parade will not involve columns of Suvorov and Nakhimov schools, cadet corps, as well as military equipment. This decision is explained by the current operational situation, the Defense Ministry said.
Separately, the ministry noted that during the television broadcast viewers will be shown the work of Russian servicemen involved in the special military operation zone, as well as units on combat duty as part of missile defense forces, air force and navy.
The Kremlin earlier reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s international contacts are scheduled for May 9. According to presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, a number of foreign leaders have expressed a desire to visit Moscow on Victory Day. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo is among them.
