Recently, the leadership of the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) informed local media that five poultry farms have been authorized to supply poultry meat to Moldova.
Operators of the meat market of Moldova note in this regard that three Ukrainian enterprises received authorization to resume exports of poultry products on April 13. One of them specializes in turkey production. The other two enterprises supply Moldova mainly chicken meat for industrial processing.
Earlier, as Logos Press reported, in mid-March, Ukrainian agro-industrial holding Myronivsky Hliboproduct OJSC (MHP) regained the right to resume exports of poultry meat to Moldova. This company previously supplied the Moldovan market from two of its poultry farms. They sent to Moldova mainly poultry meat in consumer packaging and semi-finished meat products (cutlets, nuggets, etc.).
The distributor of MHP products in Moldova specified to Logos Press that the products of this company returned to both supermarket chains in Moldova that cooperate with this company. However, on the eve of the holidays, MHP products were quickly sold out, which explains their absence on the shelves of some stores. MHP products from Ukraine are delivered to the Moldovan market twice a week, but the cycle of deliveries was not carried out during the Easter week. It will resume this week.
