Poland is interested in getting a stake in Oschadbank or Ukreximbank. The Polish financial market operator already owns Kredobank, which operates mainly in western Ukraine. The new investment should become a financial “rear” for the Polish business in the future recovery. This was reported by the Polish edition of Wirtualna Polska (WP).

It is almost certain that the next global conference on Ukraine’s reconstruction will be held in Warsaw in the spring of 2026. Earlier, Kiev considered Vienna or Paris, but, according to sources, Poland managed to convince the Ukrainian side.

WP insiders note that after Vladimir Zelensky’s harsh statements in Davos to EU leaders, his ratings in Brussels have dropped. In such situations, Kiev traditionally tries to get closer to regional players, primarily Warsaw.
