A new secretary of state has been appointed to the ministry of energy

Vitalie Mîța was appointed at a government meeting on November 4 as the new state secretary of the Energy Ministry, responsible for the thermal power, natural gas and energy efficiency sectors, Logos Press reported.

The new Secretary of State has specialized education and training in energy management and energy efficiency. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering and has over 17 years of professional experience in the energy sector.

During this time, Vitalie Mîța has held several positions at Thermoelectrica, including Head of Production Management and Director of Development.

Prior to his appointment as Secretary of State, Vitalie Mîța advised the Ministry of Energy in the field of thermal energy and participated in the development of sectoral policies.
