The Interdepartmental Supervisory Board ordered to block funds and economic resources belonging to, owned directly or indirectly by a number of persons and organizations subject to restrictions. It is also prohibited to provide funds and economic resources to the subjects of restrictions, or to use the funds for their benefit.
The State Tax Service will take the necessary actions to identify the financial resources belonging to the subjects of restrictions. After that – will make decisions on their freezing.
It should be noted that at the end of 2025, the U.S. Treasury announced sanctions against two major Russian oil companies – Lukoil and Rosneft. Soon, the Moldovan Cabinet of Ministers said that it was analyzing the consequences of the sanctions, as well as their impact on the market of oil products in Moldova.
