A number of import duties will be maintained in Transnistria

This decision was made by the regional authorities within the framework of the block of issues devoted to the regulation of foreign trade, protection of domestic resources and budget support. It is noted that the preservation of zero customs duty on eggs of domestic chickens is aimed at stabilizing prices due to cheaper imports.

At the same time, a mechanism of differentiation of indicative prices for export of corn by classification groups is introduced. This will prevent the export of products at understated prices and ensure full repatriation of foreign currency earnings. It was also decided that until the end of 2026, Transnistria will have an export duty on chopped and unchopped fuel wood. Fixed rates of $0.02 per kg were established.

From January 1, 2026, export duties on sand and gravel mixture will continue to apply – 50% of the customs value at a price at or above the indicative price; 250% at a price below the indicative price. The measure is aimed at protecting resources and developing processing within the region.

In 2026, the current rates of the toll for the passage of foreign heavy trucks on Transnistrian roads are also maintained. All revenues are directed to the Road Fund for road rehabilitation.
