The data demonstrates the growing interest of citizens to invest in GS with significant peaks. The highest demand, which exceeded the supply more than three times, was recorded in December 2024. At that time, investments worth more than 151 million lei were recorded. However, the majority of transactions occurred in March 2025, when 1,145 investors made 1,700 purchases of GS.
The profile of a typical investor is characterized by: an average age of 42 years, predominance of persons aged 36-45 years, preference for maturities of 1 and 2 years and a high concentration in the urban environment, especially in Chisinau. At the same time, loyal investors, who keep coming back to subscribe, generate almost 80% of the total investment volume.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the youngest investor is 18 years old and the oldest is 84 years old and has invested 200 thousand lei in GS.
