
The Competition Council considers the notification of economic concentration to be realized by the acquisition by CB “Victoriabank” S.A. of 100% of the authorized capital of NCO “Microinvest” S.R.L. 100% of the authorized capital of NCO Microinvest S.R.L. The type of transaction is acquisition of sole control. The antimonopoly authority will conduct a full analysis procedure on the announced transaction for its acceptability on this market.
According to the information from open sources, it is not about that the loan portfolio of NCO Microinvest will be transferred to CB Victoriabank as a result of the transaction. With the change of shareholders NCO Microinvest will continue to operate as a financial organization of non-bank crediting and financial leasing.
“Microinvest” is the largest non-bank credit organization in Moldova in terms of credit portfolio, which is valued at 6.7 billion lei. Its market share is estimated at 36.3% for the first half of 2024, which is the highest among non-banking organizations in the country.
