
Overall, Ukraine exported goods to foreign markets worth over $3.3bn (+5.4% compared to June).
“The main export item of Ukraine remains goods of agriculture and food industry. In July, they reached $1.7 billion – this is more than half of total exports. Iron ore, certain types of engineering and metallurgy products also account for a significant share of exports,” the Ukrainian economy ministry said in a statement.
The European Union remains Ukraine’s key trading partner – last month, $1.9 billion worth of goods were exported to the bloc’s countries (+10.1% compared to the previous month). The top five largest consumers of Ukrainian exports in July also included China ($212.4m), Turkey ($149.2m), India ($140.8m) and Egypt ($110.9m).
