
According to the decision of the company’s shareholders, the remaining 5% of net profit will go to the reserve fund.
In 2024, the perfume and cosmetics factory’s losses amounted to 790,000 lei against a profit of 135,000 lei a year earlier. At the same time, Viorica Cosmetic increased sales revenues by 18.5%, from 135 million to 160 million lei, while the cost of sales increased by 11.3%, from 58 million to 64.3 million lei. However, distribution expenses increased sharply – by almost 25% (up to 79 million lei). Administrative expenses also increased by 13% (to 13.5 million lei).
The authorized capital of Viorica Cosmetic at the end of 2024 remained unchanged, amounting to 118.5 million lei. The company’s shareholders are still 16 persons.
It should be noted that Viorica Cosmetic is the largest manufacturer of perfumes and cosmetics in Moldova, established in 1980. In 2012, it was privatized by the DAAC Hermes holding for 51 million lei, with the subsequent renewal of production and rebranding of products. The company produces more than 200 items of goods: care cosmetics, perfumes, detergents. It develops its own trade network “Viorica”.
