Corina Alexa
The Ministry of Finance team has been joined by a fourth Secretary of State at the suggestion of Finance Minister Victoria Belous. Corina Alexa has a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences and a Master’s degree in Public Finance and Taxation. She has been with the ministry since 2009. Until now, she was head of the General Directorate of Tax and Customs Policy, actively participating both in the development of the new legislative framework and in its explanation in specialized scientific and professional publications.
Recently, the activity of the new State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance has been closely linked to the process of harmonization of the national legislation with the EU legislation. As noted by the Minister of Finance Victoria Belous, this “appointment reflects the commitment of the Ministry of Finance to bring together a team of dedicated professionals who support the vision of the institution and actively contribute to the realization of national priorities”.
What direction Corina Alexa will supervise, the Ministry of Finance has not yet specified.
