The realization of the project was made possible through the collaboration of the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA), which issues certificates through the SIAGEAP platform, and the e-Government Agency (AGE), responsible for the government’s digital infrastructure and integration with the ePhyto HUB through the MConnect system.
The new mechanism allows for the automatic and secure transfer of certificates to phytosanitary authorities in other countries, instant verification of certificates issued by other countries for authenticity, which speeds up and simplifies export-import customs procedures and brings phytosanitary control in line with international requirements.
Thus, the relevant authorities of our country will be able to transmit and receive in electronic format the documents required by agro-food operators for export and import of plant products subject to phytosanitary quarantine from and to the country of destination.
